Survey: HFSS restrictions in Scotland

This survey is for food and drink producers to respond to.

As the Food and Drink Federation Scotland looks ahead to its next funded year of work, it is keen to ensure it is developing the best possible resources to meet the needs of the industry. In previous years, the organisation has worked with many Scottish food and drink manufacturers who have reformulated recipes to become compliant with regulations in English retail environments that restrict the promotion of products high in fat, sugar and salt (HFSS). As Scotland is now set to introduce similar restrictions in October this year, the organisation is seeking to understand the general awareness and understanding of these restrictions across the industry.

To support this, a short questionnaire has been prepared to gather feedback, and the organisation would greatly appreciate it if stakeholders could take a few minutes to complete the survey:

Responses will help the organisation better understand how prepared the industry feels and will inform the development of resources to provide the right support where needed. Recipients are also encouraged to share the survey with colleagues who may be impacted by the legislation. Those with questions, or who have an existing product development project that may benefit from support, are encouraged to get in touch directly. Assistance remains free and open to all Scottish SME food and drink manufacturers.
