Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR): Small Producer Registration and Reporting Deadline (Small and Large Producers) 1 April 2026

1 April 2026 is an important deadline for both small and large producers. Act now to ensure you comply with your legal obligations. 

Small producers 

Small producers must register by 1 April for the 2026 compliance year. They must also submit their packaging data for January – December 2025. 

Digital functionality is already available for small producers to register and submit their packaging data. Users can upload registration files directly via Report Packaging Data (RPD) portal.  

Large producers 

Large producers should have registered by 1 October 2025 for the 2026 compliance year.  

Submission is now open for H2 2025 packaging data (June – December 2025) for large producers to use in RPD. Please submit your data ahead of the deadline via the RPD tile. 

Large producers must also report their RAM data for July – December 2025 by 1 April 2026. This is submitted with the H2 2025 packaging data. Further information about how to report your RAM data can be found here on Gov.uk.
