SGF Benevolent Fund
The SGF Benevolent Fund is on hand to offer financial assistance to those in times of hardship who have previously worked in the Scottish grocery trade. Grants are available to:
Anyone who has worked for at least 6 continuous months in the independent grocery trade in Scotland and their dependents.
Any other charitable body which provides support.
Those in need who work or have worked within the independent grocery trade in Scotland.
Dependents of such persons.
Give support for training to anyone who has worked for at least 6 continuous months in the independent grocery trade in Scotland, and their dependents.
In addition, we also work alongside GroceryAid to offer additional financial and wellbeing services and to raise funds for our sector.
