Police Inspector Emma Wright

Emma has 25 years’ policing experience, previously serving in West Mercia Police, then moving to Police Scotland in March 2023. She has completed various uniformed and detective roles but her appointment to the Retail Crime Taskforce provides a new and rewarding challenge. It is fantastic to have an opportunity to work collaboratively with retailers and stakeholders, to make a change across Scotland in an area of offending which is widespread, organised, impacting financially on retailers and personally on their staff. The taskforce is already showing what can be achieved with funding and collaboration, bringing positive results in enforcement and prevention.
