Share your views: retailers, how ready are you for the UK Deposit Return Scheme?

To understand how prepared retailers feel for DRS, Exchange for Change has launched a monthly DRS Retailer Readiness Survey.

Retail store owners and operators are encouraged to take part. The anonymous survey explores how prepared retailers feel for the introduction of DRS, their perceptions of the scheme, the steps they are taking to get ready, and areas where they need further information or advice.

The survey will take just a few minutes to complete. As a thank you, retailers taking part will have the option to enter a prize draw to win up to £250 in Amazon vouchers, (terms and conditions apply).

The feedback will play a vital role in helping Exchange for Change understand retailer readiness and emerging needs over time. This will allow it to tailor communications, guidance and support to meet the industry’s evolving requirements as preparations continue for the DRS launch in October 2027.
