SGF meets with Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Tourism and Transport

On 29 July, SGF met with the Cabinet Secretary for the Economy, Tourism and Transport, Stephen Flynn in Glasgow.

We discussed many crucial issues for the sector including Local economic growth, supply chain resilience and retail crime and Illicit trade.

It also provided an opportunity to highlight SGF’s Go Local and Healthy Living Programme, and how these initiatives are supporting retailers and the communities they serve by increasing access to locally sourced products and healthier food options.

The Cabinet Secretary is due to attend SGF’s Annual Conference, and we look forward to continuing our engagement at the event.
