Sale of disposable BBQs in UK

National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) has confirmed that, pending any further announcement from the UK Government, disposable BBQ’s should not be made available to purchase. As such, the previous withdrawal timeline associated with the voluntary initiative, that was due to end on 24th August, has effectively been overtaken by the Government's ban.

Businesses should continue to comply with the temporary ban until the UK Government formally confirms that it has been lifted.
