OPSS Safe Vape Usage and Disposal Awareness Campaign

Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has confirmed the launch of its Safe Vape Usage and Disposal Awareness Campaign.

The campaign aims to improve consumer safety by reducing the risk of battery fires, injuries and environmental harm associated with unsafe vape usage and disposal. It seeks to raise awareness among young people about the hidden dangers linked to improper charging, damaged batteries and disposing of vapes in general waste, while promoting simple and practical habits that help keep users safe and support responsible recycling.
