New service Scottish Government Service for providing more insight into NDR proposals

Information on non-domestic rates proposals and appeals is now available, with Scottish Assessors launching new statistics and enhanced property-level tracking through the SAA Portal.

Ratepayers can search their Rateable Value to view proposal and appeal histories for individual properties from 1 April 2023 onwards, providing greater visibility of the progress and outcomes of cases across Scotland.

The service provides businesses with access to information not available elsewhere in the UK. The Scottish Assessors’ 2025/26 Annual Report has also been published, outlining the work undertaken by Assessors over the past year.
