Minimum wage rates announced
The Government has announced minimum wage rates to take effect from April 2026, accepting in full the recommendations made by the Low Pay Commission (LPC). The National Living Wage for those 21 and over has risen to £12.71 an increase of 50p on the current rate (4.1%). The LPC is publishing the advice submitted to the Government in October, along with a short report summarising the evidence used to inform its recommendations.
