First Minister announces cabinet reshuffle
On 11th June, First Minister John Swinney made some changes to the Scottish Cabinet:
Gillian Martin is confirmed as Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero, Climate and Energy, taking on the role permanently after serving in an acting capacity.
Màiri McAllan returns from leave and has been appointed Cabinet Secretary for Housing.
Maree Todd becomes Minister for Drugs and Alcohol Policy.
Tom Arthur moves to become Minister for Mental Wellbeing and Social Care.
Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes and Minister for Business Richard Lochhead will assume the responsibilities of Tom Arthur’s previous role as Minister for Employment and Investment.
