Cross Party Group on Independent Convenience Stores (AGM) “Rising Costs of Doing Business in Scotland” 11th Nov. 6-7.30pm
Our next Cross Party Group (CPG) on Independent Convenience Stores is due to take place on Tuesday 11th November at 6pm in person at the Scottish Parliament.
The topic is set to be “Rising Costs of Doing Business in Scotland” and this will be our Annual Group Meeting (AGM).
With the next UK budget to take place soon after the CPG and the Scottish budget to follow on from that, this presents a good opportunity to discuss these issues. The speakers are:
Professor Leigh Sparks - Professor of Retail Studies, University of Stirling.
Shamly Sud – Independent retailer, Racetrack Pitstop.
(Third speaker to be confirmed)
Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity for a Q&A session with our speakers and MSPs present.
We would be delighted to have you in attendance in what promises to be an interesting discussion. We will gather in the Parliament’s visitor reception before proceeding to the event room.
