Illicit trade in illegal, counterfeit, and non-compliant products is a significant and growing concern for our sector. Illegal sales undermines legitimate retail trade, funds organised crime, damages the economy, and potentially risks the wellbeing of customers.

High value goods such as tobacco, vapes, nicotine alternatives and alcohol are commonly targeted by rogue sellers, and usually undercut in-store prices.
